I have been going here for years for plants, trees and shrubs for our home landscaping. I appreciate that if they are out of something they can usually tell you if they are getting any more in and when. There are many varieties and sizes of small flowers through trees to choose from; landscape rocks, pebbles, boulders. They have many small to large pots, fountains, and even have a neat gift shop at the rear of the property - some unique gift ideas there, especially if you are looking for something for inside decor; wall hangings, Florida decor. It is a large property, and many things going on, with many customers not familiar with the proclivities of Florida plants and trees so asking lots of questions - but a little patience yields great choices of plants and trees and some free guidance to get it done successfully.

Very nice plants, large and small. Expensive but great quality. Staff know their plants but sometimes really busy! They have their own fertilizer that is organic & people get addicted to it. They also have their own potting soil. Azelea, holly tree, large cat palms, variegated ginger, Cordylines, crotons, ponytail, lots of grasses! Very clean and large. Lots and lots of beautiful expensive pots and statues for your garden.

We were so pleased with Ashley helping us to pick out plants and a helpful layout for our newly established 24X4 foot flower garden. She is absolutely the kindest and most knowledgeable person and made our experience delightful! And the cost of our large selection was less expensive than we even imagined. It is worth the trip out to this large nursery with such an assortment of plants, trees and accessories to choose from. Ask for Ashley for helpful service but if she isn't there the entire staff knows what they are talking about and so very helpful

We have visited this nursery several times to purchase the hundreds of dollars of plants that have been needed to landscape our yard over the past 2 years. Our last visit was the end of May 2022. We had purchased 20 Ixora plants for a contained garden. We have these plants on automatic irrigation and have kept them very healthy. So healthy in fact, that they have doubled in size. That is all of them except 1. The one that is still the original size also has a different color of leaf. So I called the store. I had just assumed that I had somehow gotten the wrong plant and we could just do an easy replacement. No such luck. I was told to email their plant "specialist" and he would advise us how to proceed. So I did as I was asked and included multiple pictures showing the differences of the other plants compared to the smaller one. However, I received a reply from Francois stating that I must not be watering correctly and that they are the same plant. So I decided to call and explain that these were all planted on the same day 6 months ago, they are all on irrigation and have been cared for the same. "Megan" then explained to me that I probably received a dwarf variety mixed in with the larger variety, but that since I planted it I can't exchange it. My husband then got on the phone. He explained that we have purchased hundreds of dollars of plants and that there was obviously an error when they selected & loaded our plants, but we just want what we paid for and not the dwarf variety. Megan told him that this wasn't their problem since we planted the plant and didn't bring it to their attention. For the record, we don't live in our home full time and we called as soon as we noticed that they had given us the wrong plant. While they do have a wide selection, their customer service is non-existent. Here we have a situation where the company wronged a customer. Yes, it is only about $20, but for them to care that little about a client who can provide the receipt for the item she didn't receive, just shows that they don't care about their customers returning once they have given them their money.

I have been a customer of Mariposa nursery for the last 10 years. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Since COVID, I started growing my indoor plant collection. Jessica has been extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable when educating me all about indoor plants. I highly recommend Mariposa nursery for all your garden needs!

Terrible customer service and waste of our time. We had a landscaping plan done for us, the gentleman who did the plan suggested we visit Mariposa Nursery and see the plants he recommended and possibly get some other ideas. We drove 40 minutes to get there . Upon arrival was told inside that one of the ladies at the tables could assist us. Be VERY CARFUL how you answer their questions , we apparently offended them when told we wanted to see plants recommended to us. They stated they would not assist us since we already had a plan. It seemed unless we could convince them we were there to buy from MARIPOSA they would not assist us. We would have to walk the property on our own. We went to another nursey in the area after we left and were assisted by a by a staff member who answered all our questions and made additional recommendations. Guess where we will now spend our $?? Surprised they can stay in business if that's the staff's attitude, maybe owner should rethink the business plan!
